2020 NAB RunWest registrations open on November 21, 2019. Please note that availability in some events is limited so don’t delay your entry.
As well as entry to either the 12Km race or the 4Km Family Fun Run, your registration gets you access to all the on-course entertainment on offer during race day and an awesome NAB RunWest finish medal. The Finish Festival will be hosted at West HQ and free transport is provided to selected parking and transport hubs.
Anyone and Everyone! Designed to be all inclusive, NAB RunWest is suitable for everyone from competitive runners to families with prams. Jog at your own pace, it’s not always about the time; it can be about how much fun you’re having. Whether it’s the 12Km or 4Km event, walkers are welcome too.
Yes, any number of registrations can be processed in the one credit card transaction. If you register as a team of five or more each participant will receive a $5 discount on their registration fee.
No, entries cannot be submitted on the day of the event.
If you have not elected to have your race number mailed to you, race number collection will be at West HQ, 55 Sherbrooke Street, Rooty Hill on Saturday, March 28, 2020. Hours of operation will be advised closer to the event.
To collect your race bib, please bring a copy of your registration confirmation email with bib number which you should have received in March. If you have lost or never received your receipt, please email NAB RunWest and we will send you a duplicate.
If you are unable to attend, you may have someone pick up your race pack on your behalf. Please ensure the nominated person has your registration confirmation email with bib number and a text/email/letter from you stating that they can pick it up on your behalf.
You are not required to print your confirmation email with bib number but it would be a good idea to have a copy on your phone available.
Both the 12Km and 4Km Family Fun Run are open to all ages. However all entrants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian for the entire duration of the event and the accompanying adult takes full responsibility for the safety of the entrant under 12.
We recommend entrants collect their own race bib. However, if you are unable to attend, you may have someone pick up your race pack on your behalf. Please ensure the nominated person has your registration confirmation email with bib number and a text/email/letter from you stating that they can pick it up on your behalf.
If you enter prior to the bib mailing cut off date, you will have the option to have your race pack mailed to you at a cost of $7.95
Both the 12Km and 4Km Family Fun Run are wheelchair accessible. Participants in wheelchairs should enter and start from the last wave in each event. There is no elite wheelchair event or priority start for participants in race chairs.
You can update your registration details at any time by navigating to the entry page and logging in with your original login details. At this point, you can change your personal details.
Your event confirmation email will be important when you collect your race number. If you have lost it or never received it, please email NAB RunWest and we will organise for another email to be sent.
Yes, entries can be transferred from one entrant to another. Transfers are only valid for the same event in the same year. To organise a transfer, please navigate to the registration portal where further instructions will assist you through this process. Please note transfers must be completed prior to the transfer cut off date. After this time, no transfers will be accepted.
Yes, you can change your race. When downgrading your race distance, refunds will not be given. When upgrading your race, you will be required to pay the difference in entry fees. To organise an upgrade/downgrade please navigate to the registration portal where further instructions will assist you through this process.

Road closures will be in place in Eastern Creek and Rooty Hill between 6am and 11.30am and reopen progressively as participants travel along the courses. While the courses travel mostly off-road using shared and private pathways sections of roads along the course will be closed for the safety of participants.

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on the 12km course due to protocol around the Sydney Zoo. Guide dogs are however permitted on 4Km Family Fun Run.
If you are running to provide assistance to someone who needs assistance (such as a guide), please email NAB RunWest who will provide entry instructions.
We strongly discourage the use of headphones on course. If you do choose to use headphones whilst running, please ensure that you are still able to hear what is happening around you.
Prams are permitted in both of the 12Km Fun Run the 4Km Family Fun Run and must start at the back of the field. Please complete the Accompanying Pram Section when registering to enter. An identification pass for the pram will be included with your race pack. If you would like the child to receive entrant rewards then you will need to enter them in to the event.
The use of any type of drone or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is strictly prohibited at NAB RunWest. Any person using a drone or UAV may be disqualified from the event.
No personal support riders or bike riders within the vicinity of runners are permitted on course. It is the responsibility of each athlete while running to ensure that no bikes are on the course near the runners. Any transgression will result in disqualification from the event.

To ensure your event day experience is as smooth as possible, we strongly encourage all participants to utilise public transport, however, public transport, such as bus and rail, is not included in your registration.
NAB RunWest will be operating free shuttle buses between Sydney Motorsport Park and West HQ throughout the day for all participants. For those participants parking at Sydney Motorsport Park for the start of the NAB RunWest 12Km event, this means you can drive to Sydney Motorsport Park, enjoy all that the event has to offer, including the Finish Line Festival at West HQ and then be transported back to your car at Sydney Motorsport Park after you have enjoyed all there is to offer.

Yes, Gear Drop will be available for 12km Only.
If you have essential items that you will require post-race, 12km participants can drop items off at the Sydney Gymnastic in the One55 Gym on Level 3, West HQ, 12 N Parade, Rooty Hill, (adjacent to West HQ). Participants are strongly encouraged to consider what they leave at gear drop, and only leave item’s that are essential. NAB RunWest takes no responsibility for lost property so valuable items should not be left.
12km participants can also drop items off at the race start area, Sydney Motorsport Park on race morning (Sunday 29 March). Note that gear drop will close at 7:00am. After this time, participants must carry their items with them on the course.
Groups and organisations are not allowed to create or form a dedicated space within the event village for their group to congregate unless approved by NAB RunWest prior to the event. If a group is seen within the event site without an official event permit they will be asked by event organisers and security to leave the event site. If you would like to enquire about an allocated space within the event village for event day please email NAB RunWest.
Under no circumstance can you distribute any samples, flyers, promotional material, or anything similar within the event village. If seen doing so you will be asked to leave the event site by event organisers and security.
Your time will be recorded by a timing transponder pre-attached to the rear of your race number. Please ensure you firmly attach your race number to your chest and wear it for the entirety of the event.
Once you receive your race number, please ensure you do not bend or expose it to excessive heat. If you think your transponder may be damaged, please present it at the NAB RunWest Expo for exchange.
Your personal transponder will be activated once you cross the start line, and your finishing time will be recorded as you cross the finish line. Results will be available via the NAB RunWest website.
All finishers in the 12km Fun Run and the 4km Family Fun Run receive an awesome NAB RunWest finishers medal at the West HQ Finish Line Festival.

Via M7 take the exit at The Horsley Drive, then turn left into Ferrers Rd and travel north to Gate D.
SYDNEY SOUTH WEST (FAIRFIELD /CUMBERLAND HIGHWAY):
Via The Horsley Drive then turn into Ferrers Rd and travel north to Gate D.
SYDNEY CITY AND EAST:
Via M4 and take the Wallgrove Rd exit and travel south on Wallgrove Rd. From Wallgrove Rd turn left into Chandos Rd and left into Ferrers Rd and travel north to Gate D.

Roads around the start site at Sydney Motorsport Park will be closed between 6am and 9am including Ferrers Rd, Brabham Dr and the Great Western Hwy. Roads near the Blacktown International Sportspark start site will be closed between 7am and 11.30am including sections of Eastern Rd, Rooty Hill Rd and Beames Ave.
The easiest way to access the 12km start line at Sydney Motorsport Park is via Chandos Rd and Ferrers Rd. Take the Wallgrove Rd exit from the M4 or M7 motorways.
