As well as entry to either the 12Km race or the 4Km Family Fun Run, your ticket gets you access to all the on-course entertainment on offer during race day. All event registrations include a free pass to visit the new Sydney Zoo. That’s incredible value for as little as a $15 event entry fee! The Finish Line Festival will be hosted at West HQ where there will also be free entry to the Sydney Gymnastics and Aquatic Centre, as well as free transport to take you back to the carpark at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Anyone and Everyone! Designed to be all inclusive, NAB RunWest is suitable for everyone from competitive runners to families with prams. Jog at your own pace, it’s not always about the time; it can be about how much fun you’re having. Whether it’s the 12Km or 4Km event, walkers are welcome too.
Yes, any number of registrations can be processed in the one credit card transaction. If five or more entries are processed at one time, a 10% discount will be applied to the total cost.
No, entries cannot be submitted on the day of the event. Online entries close at midday on Wednesday March 27, 2019.
Bib number pick-up will be at the NAB RunWest Expo at Made By The Hill located at West HQ from Thursday March 28 – Saturday March 30.
You will need photo identification to collect your race pack. If you are collecting a race pack on behalf of another individual you will be required to provide a letter/email/text showing you have permission to do so along with a copy of their entry confirmation.
Each entrant will receive a confirmation of their entry via email (also downloadable format), you are not required to print this but it would be a good idea to have a copy on your phone available.
Both the 12Km and 4Km Family Fun Run are open to all ages. However all entrants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian for the entire duration of the event and the accompanying adult takes full responsibility for the safety of the entrant under 12.
We recommend entrants collect their own race number. However, if you need someone to collect on your behalf, they require a copy of your Entry Confirmation and a written authorisation letter/email/text from you outlining that you give them permission to collect on your behalf.
If you enter prior to January 1, 2019 you will have the option to have your race pack mailed to you at a cost of $6.
Following that time, Race numbers will not be posted. You will need to collect your race number at your nominated Check In Centre during opening hours. If you cannot make it to one of the Check In Centres, you can arrange for someone else to collect it on your behalf. They will need to bring with them a copy of your entry confirmation along with an email/letter/text from you confirming your permission for them to do so.
Both the 12Km and 4Km Family Fun Run are wheelchair accessible. Participants in wheelchairs should enter and start from the last wave in each event. There is no elite wheelchair event or priority start for participants in race chairs.
You can update your registration details at any time by navigating to the entry page and logging in with your original login details. At this point, you can change your personal details. Instructions for this can be found on the registration page.
Your event confirmation email will be important when you collect your race number. If you have lost it or never received it, please email NAB RunWest and we will organise for another email to be sent.
Refunds can only be processed by RunWest staff. They cannot be processed online via your event registration account. Please email NAB RunWest to facilitate a refund. Please ensure you read the refund Terms and Conditions prior to requesting a refund.
Yes, entries can be transferred from one entrant to another. Transfers are only valid for the same event in the same year. To organise a transfer, please navigate to the registration portal where further instructions will assist you through this process. Please note transfers will close on Sunday 17th March 2019. After this time, no transfers will be accepted.
Yes, you can change your race. When downgrading your race distance, refunds will not be given. When upgrading your race, you will be required to pay the difference in entry fees. To organise an upgrade/downgrade please navigate to the registration portal where further instructions will assist you through this process. Please note transfers will close on Sunday 17th March 2019. After this time, no transfers will be accepted.

Following the completion of NAB RunWest all registered participants will be emailed a code to redeem a voucher at the Sydney Zoo website, which will entitle you to a free pass to the Sydney Zoo, which will be valid for up to 365 days from August 1, 2019. One pass per registered participant.
Road closures will be in effect for the event and will be advertised on the NAB RunWest website closer to event day.
Unfortunately, with the exception of assistance dogs, no animal may be on the course at anytime.
If you are running to provide assistance to someone who needs assistance (such as a guide), please email NAB RunWest who will provide entry instructions.
We strongly discourage the use of headphones on course. If you do choose to use headphones whilst running, please ensure that you are still able to hear what is happening around you.
Prams are permitted in both of the 12Km Fun Run the 4Km Family Fun Run and must start at the back of the field. Please complete the Accompanying Pram Section when registering to enter. An identification pass for the pram will be included with your race pack. If you would like the child to receive entrant rewards then you will need to enter them in to the event.
The use of any type of drone or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is strictly prohibited at NAB RunWest. Any person using a drone or UAV may be disqualified from the event.
No personal support riders or bike riders within the vicinity of runners are permitted on course. It is the responsibility of each athlete while running to ensure that no bikes are on the course near the runners. Any transgression will result in disqualification from the event.

NAB RunWest’s Official Event Photographers will be on-course throughout event day to capture all the fun, excitement and smiling faces of NAB RunWest. You’ll be able to purchase your official NAB RunWest photos here.
NAB RunWest will be operating free shuttle buses between Sydney Motorsport Park and West HQ throughout the day for all participants. For those participants parking at Sydney Motorsport Park for the start of the NAB RunWest 12Km event, this means you can drive to Sydney Motorsport Park, enjoy all that the event has to offer, including the Finish Line Festival at West HQ and then be transported back to your car at Sydney Motorsport Park after you have enjoyed all there is to offer.
For participants choosing to park at the West HQ finish line, transport will be available prior to the 12km Event start from West HQ to Sydney Motorsport Park early on the morning of event day.

Yes, gear drop will be available at both the 12km and 4Km Family Fun Run start area. This provides an option for essential items to be transferred from the start line to the finish line at West HQ for collection.
Participants are strongly encouraged to consider what they bring to the start line and only submit essential items to the gear drop. We strongly discourage submitting valuable items and RunWest is unable to take responsibility for valuable items.
Groups and organisations are not allowed to create or form a dedicated space within the event village for their group to congregate unless approved by NAB RunWest prior to the event. If a group is seen within the event site without an official event permit they will be asked by event organisers and security to leave the event site. If you would like to enquire about an allocated space within the event village for event day please email NAB RunWest.
Under no circumstance can you distribute any samples, flyers, promotional material, or anything similar within the event village. If seen doing so you will be asked to leave the event site by event organisers and security.
Your time will be recorded by a timing transponder pre-attached to the rear of your race number. Please ensure you firmly attach your race number to your chest and wear it for the entirety of the event.
Once you receive your race number, please ensure you do not bend or expose it to excessive heat. If you think your transponder may be damaged, please present it at the NAB RunWest Expo for exchange.
Your personal transponder will be activated once you cross the start line, and your finishing time will be recorded as you cross the finish line. Results will be available as they happen on the NAB RunWest website.
All finishers in the 12km Fun Run and the 4km Family Fun Run receive an awesome NAB RunWest finishers medal. For our first ever NAB RunWest we are designing some awesome bling!
All applicants for participation in the Event – and where the applicant is under 18 years of age, that applicant’s parent or legal guardian – must read, acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below, including the warning, exclusion of liability, release & indemnity.
